Business Systems & Process Support for Local Businesses

Business Systems & Process Support for Local Businesses
I provide straightforward, practical support focused on how your systems and processes are set up, and how they’re actually working day to day.
I work with business owners who are dealing with systems and processes that don’t quite join up, don’t reflect how the business actually runs, or rely too heavily on workarounds.
That might look like:
Using multiple systems that don’t link together
Repeating the same work in different places
Relying on spreadsheets to fill gaps
Processes that vary depending on who’s doing them
Reporting that isn’t clear, consistent, or trusted
Software that doesn’t quite fit how the business works
I also support businesses that are looking to improve or build on what they already have, whether that’s modernising systems, simplifying processes, or making better use of data and reporting.
In many cases, the starting point is simply understanding where the gaps are, what’s missing, and what’s realistic to change. The focus is always the same, clear, honest support to help you move things forward in a way that makes sense for your business.

I’ve spent over 20 years working across business systems, process improvement, reporting, data analysis, project management, and implementation. My experience includes work across the UK and internationally, including the UAE, Singapore, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and South Korea.
I’ve worked with organisations of different sizes and structures, including government-funded organisations, charities, trusts, SMEs and start-ups. Across those roles, I’ve worked at senior, department head and management level, helping teams improve how systems, processes, data and reporting work in practice.
Most of the work I’ve done has involved solving the problems that sit between people, systems and processes, the gaps, workarounds and messy bits that don’t always fit neatly into one job title.
Now I bring that experience to local businesses in the South West

Most people start with a simple conversation, a quick coffee or call to talk through what’s going on in the business.
From there, the next step depends on what’s needed.
In some cases, that’s a Business Systems Health Check, a short, structured review of your current systems and processes, compared to where you want things to be, with a clear view of the gaps and a practical action plan.
For others, it’s more hands-on support.
That might be:

Short-term support — Focused, solution-based work to fix a specific issue
Mid-term support — Working through a set of improvements over a defined period
Long-term support — Ongoing input to help manage, improve, and develop systems over time
